Now in its eighth season, the Africa Now! Festival at the Apollo Theater celebrates the best of today’s African music scene. This year, WMI and the Apollo present Natu Camara, one of the brightest stars coming out of the west African nation of Guinea. Natu is a singer/songwriter who weaves beautiful musical tapestries of her beloved homeland. DJ Sabine Blaizin will be spinning Afrotech and Afrobeat hits from doors open until show time. Hosted by Jodine Dorcé.
