Harlem MEET Africa is back.

We are so happy to announce that Harlem MEET Africa is returning to Marcus Garvey Park on Sunday, October 18th, from 2–7 PM.

Harlem MEET Africa has always been about bringing people together through music, culture and community — creating a space where we can meet great music, meet one another and, most importantly, meet joy.

This year we have another wonderful group of artists and performers joining us, representing Harlem, Africa and the many cultures that connect us. I’m incredibly proud of the line-up and excited to share the stage with such talented musicians, dancers and young performers.

For us HMA is personal. Harlem is home, and this festival is about celebrating the extraordinary cultural energy that exists right here in our community while creating a space for African music and culture to be heard, experienced and shared.

I’ll also be closing the festival with a full performance and some very special guests, so we hope you’ll come and celebrate with us.

Harlem MEET Africa is FREE and open to everyone.

Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring your dancing shoes.

Come for the music. Stay for the joy. Be part of HMA.

Sunday, October 18th 2–7 PM | Richard Rodgers Amphitheater

We can’t wait to see you there.
