During a recent trip to Guinea, Natu stopped at the gas station for an oil check.
While she was waiting, she heard some music coming from a boom box.
It was Natu singing from when she was with IBG (Ideal Black Girls). When the mechanic understood who's car he was attending, he was overjoyed and shared a wonderful story.
When he was 19 years old he wanted to go to see a big show that these famous girls were performing at. He was determined to find the money to buy a ticket (as he was a massive fan of the hip-hop band.) He had no choice.
He took a pair of shoes from his moms closet and sold them to buy a ticket. He still listens to the bands music today and is proud that Natu is still playing music that means something to people, even today!
Thank you sir and to your mum!
